Wedding day

Hello girls!

On the 12th of this month I went to a wedding and I'm now sharing a few photos of the day :) I know I'm a little late...

The bride's house was surrounded with cute flower decorations and her ride to the church was also pretty cool!

Here's my sister and me after the ceremony, and beautiful Coimbra behind me.

The newly weds met at a dancing class so the whole wedding theme was based on dancing and our table was the Foxtrot.

The party was really nice, and so was the food. Here are a few photos of the menu.

The place was pretty to take pictures, there was a park for the children (where I spent a lot of time with my 3 year old little cousin) and there was a mini dancing class before the fireworks and the cake!

It was a memorable day and I wish great happiness to the married couple :)

As you might know already if you follow me on instagram or read my last post, last week during my trip to Setúbal I went on a little splurge at Kiko, so now I'm going to share with you what I purchased.

When I got to the check out line to pay the girl told me about this deal going on where if you spent over 25€ you'd get an eyeliner from the new line for free, And lucky me my purchase was exactly 25€ not even one cent above --'

The girl suggested this top coat, once I was buying a nailpolish, and I ended up bringing it. 

The eyeliner I picked was the Color Definition Eyeliner and Kajal in 01 Darling Butter (which I forgot to photograph, but you can see in the pictures with all the products at the beginning).

Goodbye Summer!

Hello beautiful people!

Last week I went on a mini 4 day getaway to Setúbal and it was my official goodbye to Summer 2015.

Sadly, due to work and school issues my mom and sister couldn't come and it ended up just being me and dad, but it was still fun :)

Hi there!
So I finally came around with creating a blog!
It's been a long time coming but now that I'm finally done with school and currently in the (not so successful) hunt for a job I've decided it's time.

Since this is my first post I thought I'd share a few facts about myself so here we go:

1. My name is Monica Gomes.
2. I turned 24 on the 24th of May (golden birthday!).
3. I live in Coimbra, Portugal, this little country at the tip of Europe.
4. I'm a MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
5. I'm a proud brunette with brown eyes and fairly light skin.
6. Been trying to loose weight all my life..but I love food, what can I do?
7. I also love youtube videos and tv series, books, fashion, beauty and dogs.
8. I have no special talents and I am socially awkward.
9. It takes me a while to trust people and to be comfortable around them.
10. I used to be the brightest kid in class…but then college happened.
