Goodbye Summer - Setúbal Travel Photo Diary

Hello beauties! 

How have you been?

It's officially the end of summer for me and just like last year it ended with a trip to Setúbal... My favorite beach destination in Portugal!

This year the 4 of us, me, sis, mum and dad got to go and we rented a cute little AirBnB which was very nice and close to all the beaches (by car) and all the city's points of interest and restaurants (by foot).

We've been going to Setúbal for vacation since I was a kid, not every year but quite often because my grandad was born there and we still have some relatives, but we usually just went to Tróia and Figueirinha beaches (you can check my post from last year here)... But this year we discovered (introduced to me by a dear friend) a new paradise - Galapinhos and Gálapos beaches! 

I really fell in love with Galapinhos, it's a very peaceful place, not very crowded (don't want to say desert) with white sand, the clearest waters and surrounded by the Arrábida hills. The access to Galapinhos is not the easiest, a bit of a hike, but it's totally worth it... The place is sooo gorgeous!

We went in the beginning of September, and caught really nice weather, enjoying our time at the beaches during the day and the city by night, always having what Setúbal has best to offer...Grilled fish and seafood.

I really enjoyed this time spent with my family. Setúbal is one of my favorite places to be and I hope to go back soon.
